Flashback Monday

I wanted to post, so I decided to post our first camping trip, which was three years ago. Chrisotpher was one month old. It was this time last year and really cold. We stayed at Nunns Park (across from Bridal Veil Falls) in Provo Canyon.
He's happy. He only woke up once to eat and it was really cold nursing him. He slept well.

Out of the mouths of Babes

We just got this picture taken at Kiddie Kandid (Free birthday 8x10). Here's the story:
Last Sunday Christopher paid his tithing to the Bishop. This Sunday Christopher handed the Bishop my tithing. As Christopher was running off, the Bishop said, "Thank you for giving me your tithing last week Christopher." Christopher stopped, walked back to the Bishop and asked, "Did you give it to Heavenly Father?" The Bishop said, "Yes." Christopher said, "Thank you."

A fun weekend

Rob took me to the Traditions Ball at BYU. We danced to a live band (mostly waltzes, and since we dont' waltz, it was hard), refreshments, and performances by Noteworthy (BYU's female A Capella group). We had a great time!
At the Blue and White game (a practice/scrimage open to the public) Christopher got a picture with NFL hopeful Bryan Kehl.
Christopher partcipated in some drills. He mostly liked the tackling ones.

A big 3 year old

Christopher loves his basketball jersey and shorts that Rob's mom gave him. He had his 3 year appointment Tuesday and here are the stats:
Weight: 27.4 lbs (I guessed 27), 25th %
Height: 35 3/4 inches, 5th %
Instead of checking head circumference, they check eyes. A primitive way of doing so...4 shapes, 2 for each eye...but according to that his eyes work well. (I don't think I saw the last one right, so I think he used his logic).
When the doctor looked in his ears, he saw that Christopher had an ear infection. Christopher didn't tell me his ear hurt until then.

Things he enjoys:
1. Playing outside (riding bikes, playing in the sandbox)
2. Playing sports (basketball, football, wrestling with dad, volleyball, with soccer and baseball as new favorites
3. Playing Candyland
4. Sitting (kneeling) in a regular chair at the table for meals
5. Story time at the library in the room for 3-5 year olds (preschool style, no parents allowed)
6. Reading books with mommy or daddy
7. Helping with the dishes (he hands them to me)
8. Riding in the car shopping carts at the grocery store (they are soo hard to push)
