Pumpkin Patch Fun

We went to a pumpkin patch for the first time ever.  I've heard about this one, but didn't realize it was so close.  I think it will be a yearly tradition, it was so fun!
The pictures are out of order.  This was our last activity.  We splurged and let the 3 older kids ride the horses.  They all enjoyed it, but makayla was the one that was most excited to.  They only went around this small rectangle twice...and it was $4 each...rip off, but fun to do once.
3 pics of Makayla cuz she was so excited to do it.

Michael liked it too.  He chose a pony so he wouldn't be so high up there.
Christopher was on the biggest horse.

We did the maze twice...once at the beginning and once at the end.  Crazy how quiet it was when you were inside.  Christopher liked sticking his body through holes so you could only see part of him.
the weather was great and all the kids had fun.
Christopher shenanigans.
Michael loved  it!
The other side of his head?
Trying to get a smiling picture of makayla, but she's not on a horse....soo...
Peek-a-boo Joseph!
Hi Mom!
Matthew's thinking hmmm....what's over here?
The trick was if they found a hole we couldn't get through...
They had a kids one, but it wasn't as much fun.

Joseph was sooooooooo excited when he saw the pumpkins that were decorating it "Ball!!  Ball!!!"
They had some weird animals for a petting zoo....a llama
goat, that's pretty typical
Joseph by the Joey.  well, idk if it was a kangaroo or wallaby.

Joseph was my buddy at the time, so he's in all the pictures.

Too bad he wasn't a little closer.  It was a cute face.  He was excited he finally got up the courage to touch the goat.
This hay tower was probably higher than we should have let the twins be on...They couldn't climb it, we had to lift them up....that should have been our clue.  They had some slides down on the lower side of the hay tower.  That was fun. (yes, I went down...with a kid on my lap)....Not very many adults were doing that.
corn pit.  Burying daddy and Joseph.
Matthew did NOT like the corn pit.
He didn't like it before they buried him
Joseph wanted in on the fun though.
Where's Makayla?
I just see her head.
Burying Michael
Twins playing in it....Matthew didn't really...just sat there.
Makayla threw up the kernels.  Ouch, but it looks cool.
She was happy to be there!
Burying Christopher

Maybe Matthew didn't like it cuz he wasn't wearing socks & the kernels were cold?

Trick or treating 2015

Classic picture w/all the kids.  Is it too late to make this my cover photo on facebook?  Christopher had a hard time deciding what to be for halloween & ended up matching michael.
and this my profile pic?  Matthew did NOT want to wear the hood on Halloween.
Makayla loved this kitty halloween bag from Pam.
Michael was sooo excited for halloween.
We had mummies for dinner (w/sweet potato fries)....and lots of blood....i mean ketchup
This isn't a good picture of all the candy....but let me tell you, 5 kids collecting candy=a TON of candy.  We always dump it in a family bowl (following Loftus tradition) & it lasts a long time.

pre-halloween

Joseph really loved this winnie the pooh costume, but the placement of the zipper in the back made it impossible to get the head on him.  This is the only time I got it on him (trying it on to see which twin would wear it).  Sad that he was more excited about the costume, but he liked seeing it on his brother too.

Matthew seemed shy of it.  I barely got it on him each time.

Makayla made mummy for speech class.
Ward chili cook off/ halloween party!

Christopher & Michael had fun w/donut on a string.  (Michael was the only one that wanted to dress up)

Rob was incharge of the maze again.  instead of boxes this year, they used chairs w/blankets.  Set up was alot faster!
Carving pumpkins
Matthew wanted to try it out.
Makayla "helping" Joseph get his hand in there.
see...this is where the lid goes.  They kept calling it a hat.
Michael's turn

I guess Christopher thought matthew needed help.  Hey, everyone except me made it in the picture!
Rob had a small work halloween party at our old church building.  Tigger and Pooh explored the hallways & we hung out in one of the nursery rooms.
Tigger & Pooh playing with the balls in the gym.  Remember the stroller parking lot, 59ers?
Joseph loved being in costume & having a hood on.  Matthew did not.

Final result of the pumpkin...guess its out of order.
Dressed up at the library for story time.
Makayla made a cute bumble bee.
