Beginning of October

Sweet sleeping baby

One of our neighbors who shares a fence with us gave us this outfit when I had Emma and you can see it here (halfway down the page)

Daddy talking with Adalyn.
Sweet sleeping baby.
2 cutie pies.  (I call Adalyn Cutie pie sometimes...my first baby I've called that nickname.)
Aww...I don't think she slept well, so I must have taken a pic everytime she was asleep.
Here are some pics of Makayla in this outfit...Idk if I ever put it on Emma.
Cozy in the blanket my mom made for Adalyn
We bought a motorhome!  I never want to have to drive it, but I have loved our adventures in it.

My friend Carrie made this beautiful quilt for Adalyn.
I had to take a pic of Adalyn in her "mommy's little Angel" (fish) outfit with it because it matched so nicely.

She cried alot because she wouldn't take a binkie.

My mom gave me this cute onesie/bib for Emma and I love the blue/pink combo. Here is Emma in it, almost 2 months older.

You can see the Saratoga Springs temple is from Rob's parent's front yard.
Adalyn and Brooklyn

Matthew and Adalyn

Joseph cut his arm making these cardboard glasses on a Sunday morning. Terrible parenting moment-we waited until that afternoon to get 13? stitches.

Here is Emma in this onesie
Trying out tummy time...not her favorite.

Matthew loves holding the babies!

Halloween and Adalyn's leaf pictures

A rare picture of all 8 of our kids...too bad 2 of them are wearing halloween masks.

Without the baby.  (Michael was squints from sandlot)
Emma and her pumpkin.
Adalyn's darling leaf pictures.
Soo cute!  She really doesn't smile that much, so to get it on camera was great!
That's a cute smile too....too bad I hadn't found the perfect lighting spot yet.
Can Zachary open his eyes any bigger?  (He was trying on Halloween costumes.)

I hear "take a picture of me" a million times a day.

Joseph trying on the fireman costume...

Emma wanted help trying on the ninja turtle mask.

We have great picture taking faces.
This one looks like Zachary is trying to punch himself in the face.

Joseph finally got the individual picture he wanted.  I kind of want to move him out of the way and enjoy how clean it is behind him.

Tough guy

Our garden produced so much squash!  Though most of them were hybrids and we never knew if it was going to be pumpkiny or zucchini-y inside.

End of October

I love this pic of Adalyn in an outfit I wore as a baby.  I have this picture as my phone's background.  Here's a link to a much smaller Emma in the same outfit.  (Emma was 1 month old in her picture, whereas Adalyn is 2 months old in this picture.

And the link to Makayla crying in this outfit
We all got our flu shot (well, some of the kids opted for the nose spray....I think Michael, Emma, and maybe Zachary got the shot, like Rob and I.) Oh, and Adalyn was too young to get it.

Zachary and Adalyn...gotta love her tongue.
"are you serious, Mom.  Are we still taking pictures?"
So cute.
Cute little sister.  Here's Emma in that same outfit, half way down the page.  (makes it easy to find with their birthdays in the same month, just  2 years apart.)

It won't let me change the order...here's the after.

Here's the before...Mostly i just took some off the sides.

These are my feet....in Christopher's shoes.

These are Christopher's feet....in my shoes.

Sometimes it's really hard to get a 2 yr old to smile for a picture.  And hold still so it's not blurry.  And sometimes you put the jumper on backwards.  But at least her hair curls naturally and saves tons of time.
And somewhere I have a pic of me wearing this...maybe I will get it out when Adalyn wears it and I will find Makayla's picture on this blog too.

Happy Adalyn.  She's not as smiley as Emma was, so we will take what we can get!

Clever Emma.
Cheese
Cute hair length Makayla.

I wish I could remember the story behind this picture.  Is she snuggling a doll?  Is Emma hugging her while she sleeps?
