Emma turns 2!

Emma looks so happy to have Daddy hold her on her special day.
What is in these bags?  Playdough
A new baby (can't put the new playdough down...it might get lost or taken!)

Bubble machine (super fun, but only works with really thick bubbles like that particular brand makes.)

Happy girl!
Pushing her baby in the new stroller...so sweet.
Too bad she's blury, cute smile.
Playing with playdough

Trying to catch bubbles (notice I found shade again, this time in our yard)

Lots of bubbles!

Makayla helped decorate Emma's cake.

Happy Birthday!

Beginning of August

The twins wearing matching shirts that used to be Christopher's and Michael's.  And Makayla sporting our Loftus reunion shirt.  The kids only get tablet time during Emma's nap, so encourage quiet, so they are taking advantage of that.   The tablets each have a different game on them, so they rotate as they get bored.
Zachary doing cool moves with cool hair.  I don't think this really looks like him, cuz usually his hair is down toward his face.

Makayla did my hair in a way that I would be willing to go out in public with out a mask ;). Here I am sporting the same dress I wore every Sunday, since we only went to church twice that summer and it was so comfortable.  Rob's mom made it for me when I was pregnant with Christopher.

With my hairdresser.

As part of our primary children's lesson, I paired the kids up and had them find 3 things that would work as armor. We compared the Nephites preparing & armor for fights against the Lamanites with spiritual battles we have where Satan tempts us.

Our suburban hit 200,000 miles.

Emma's face was cute!

Zachary and Emma enjoying sword fighting...with balloon swords.
This was where I hung out before 11 am most of the summer...This is my neighbor's side yard 😂.  It was in the shade and gave a good view of the garage/driveway/sidewalk so I could keep an eye on Emma while resting in the chair.

Part of our garden harvest.  And a clean sink?! A miracle! Our pumpkins mixed with yellow squash and we got some funny ones this year. Many yellow-orange hues.  We ended up with 3-4 times this many!

First day of school

The kids enjoyed riding bikes to school this year.  2 first graders, a third grader, and a sixth grader.
This was at the open house to meet the teachers and see where the classrooms were.  Important because parents weren't allowed to walk kids to their classrooms on the first day of school to limit how many people were in the hallways.
The twins are in the same class, but always sit apart from each other and are in different reading/math groups.  There is another set of boy twins in there class again this year, different from the ones last year.
Makayla was in the very back. (Joseph was in the very front.)
I caught Christopher early on the first day of school.
Zachary and Emma wanted to play outside when the kids went out to leave for school.  The garage is empty, which is unusual with Rob working from home.  This must have been the once a month ish time Rob went into work.

I took individuals of the kids, but they turned out blurry because I realize something was on the camera of my phone. Oh!  Notice how Zachary's shoes are on the wrong feet.  Idk what his pose is.
