Christmas

The cutest 'strike a pose' ever.  Did she know what she was doing?!
Makayla was Mary at G&G Stephenson's for the Christmas pagent.
Joseph is himself, Michael a donkey.
Baby Harvey was baby Jesus.  Was Emma a shepherd?
Christmas morning trying to get a pic with all the kids.  Zachary was crying because he stayed up too late and just wanted to see his presents.  But then told us he didn't want them, he wanted something else.  haha, note to self, he needs to go to bed on time.  And Adalyn was crying because I wanted no parents in the picture and she wanted a parent to hold her.

Adalyn opening a present.
Emma needed extra sleep because she was still getting over her sickness.  Holding her doll from G&G Stephenson
Emma so cute in front of the tree
Adalyn running from the tree.
Rob's brother sent us gingerbread houses and candy for the sibling gift exchange so we had fun building them in teams.  I think Joseph and Christopher were together.

Emma, Matthew, and I trying to take a pic with our house in it.

Makayla and Michael were a team.  And Rob and Zachary were a team.  We did this during Adalyn's naptime and the teams worked really well together.  Better than gingerbread houses stay up with frosting.

Pre-Christmas

Emma by the Christmas tree.  Snowman-check! (He's in all the pics through out all the years)

Joseph and Emma
Emma's face looks a little forced.  Zachary wanted to join them for the pic.

Cute!

I helped in Joseph's class with gingerbread making.  His teacher had parents passing out candy at the back.
Matthew's teacher just had plates of candies at each table.  I snuck across the hall and took some pics.

Matthew's completed house.
Joseph's completed house.

Christopher's school had dress up days the week before Christmas.  This day was "not a backpack." It was awkward to carry and hard to get stuff in& out, but it was festive and worked.

Is this what was new this year at the light drive thru?
Santa Joseph
Zachary's elf ears.

Emma wanted a pic by the tree, but then she wouldn't look at the camera.

Zachary's reindeer day.

December

We had a huge charcuterie board (table) at our RS Christmas activity.  It was so yummy, but so weird dishing up from a spread like this after covid.
Joseph and Makayla were given awards for their Integrity (the character of the month)
Makayla is smack dab in the middle in bright pink and Joseph is top right at the end in his school color shirt.

They do a parade around the school afterward and you can see Matthew (in a camo jacket) in the background of Joseph.

Rob was recognized at work for his 15 years of service.  I was invited to the luncheon because of this and took pictures with my sister Calais' old coworkers.
The line to pick up kids at the school went to where I was parked. (I've never tried to pick up kids in the line, I make them walk a block in the weather.)
The girls trying out the first snow of the season.
Adalyn was quite excited.  Though the boots she was wearing didn't stay on and she just stepped right out of them.

cutie pies!

I couldn't hear crying...I guess she was trying to crawl in the snow.
Matthew rolled this from 3 houses away.

A pic with his friend, whose house he rolled it from.

Adalyn was not feeling well and was sleeping on the couch, even though it wasn't naptime.
Emma brought her a baby doll to keep her company.

"I'm awake!  I just woke up from my nap an hour ago"

I trimmed Adalyn's mullet and love the cute little bob it turned out to be!
Rob and I went to a dinner and devotional at the MTC.  This is my hair after.  I used hot rollers and my hair was very big.  Luckily it calmed down for dinner.

These 2 were sick for most of December.  Emma had an ear infection after 10 days of a cold.  Both of them slept alot.

So much snow!

It's amazing how deep it can get.
New years eve celebrations.  Michael spent it with friends.  The rest of us mostly watched movies.

These special glasses were given to us for our wedding from my elementary school teachers who came to my wedding reception.  We use them every New years eve.
Joseph's face is hilarious.
