Opening presents
BYU had a party for joining a conference after being independent in football for so long. There was enough time to wait in line for 1 activity. Emma and Adalyn chose this ride to get them ready for Lagoon.
First we went to the indoor practice facility to try our skills. Makayla doing the vertical jump.
Michael's turn
Maybe I should have switched the order of those pictures...
Silly sisters....don't you know balogna is gross.
At the 4th of July neighborhood dinner/fireworks. Adalyn & Teddy.
I think someone stole my phone and took pictures of tackling daddy.
Makayla's first attempt to pack for outdoor school.
I figured out how to do a cool 4th of July hair do.
Adalyn picked these raspberries all by herself.
Makayla tried the star hair do on me...not exactly following the directions...I messed up my first time too.
This was trying to be a heart.
Adalyn's hair wasn't quite long enough to stay in star formation.
Makayla leaving for outdoor school with her friends.
Zach made a good pile in our animals upon animals game.
Emma and I are wearing our matching dresses (I made the smaller one for Makayla when I was pregnant with Emma.) https://robandmarseillestephenson.blogspot.com/2018/06/end-of-may.html Is the picture of Makayla and I in the same outfit.
It's a little big on Emma, but she can wear the next 2 years.
Emma rubbed her Lagoon stamp on her eyes.
The kids wanted pics with their stuffed animals.
More practice with the star hair do.
Makayla, Joseph, Matthew, and Zach went to the community play Matilda, where my 3rd cousin (who is in my ward) was Mrs. Wormwood.
I noticed some water on our wall on the stairs. We learned it was coming from the washing machine.
This is how I knew something was wrong.
I think this is my skull king record.
after the children's parade, we did some activities. Adalyn decorated this crown.
Makayla and Emma's crowns.
Adalyn's facepaint.
Emma's face paint.
Makayla's facepaint.
Our ward's float in the children's parade. We were invited to be in the city parade the next week, but we declined.
Christopher's record low.
My friend Mallory from elementary school passed away. This was bittersweet for me because I only saw her one time after high school, so there isn't another opportunity to see her again in this life, but because of our Savior, Jesus Christ, now she can walk and talk! Which makes me so happy for her.
Christopher was doing home MTC and set apart as a missionary during our city parade, so he had to be dressed up. He's saying hi to all his work friends. Christopher was a celebrity during the parade. Several people on floats called out "Hey Elder!" to him.
Our high school's welding class was welding on a flat bed trailer and gave this to Joseph. See the portapotty in the background? Someone built a drag racer out of it in their class.
Our family waiting for the parade to start. We were at the beginning of the parade, like we always are and we had cloud cover for the first 90 mins of the parade! So comfortable!
Adalyn sleeping really close to the slats.
bunch of fake sleepers...
When Christopher left for his mission I cleared everything out of his room, vacuumed the carpets and went through my boxes that were stored in his closet. I paired down 3 boxes to 2 boxes. I found this coupon from my sister Danielle and when I showed her the pic she said the coupon is still valid lol.
A newspaper I made when I was 14.
too funny
Michael fishing with his friend Joseph.
Emma at the park by Grandma and Grandpa Stephenson's house
Michael, Adalyn, and Harvey. Probably should have put those 3 pics on the post about the reunion.
Picture of me and my 2 best friends from high school, when I got my young womenhood recognition award for personal progress. I found so many pictures going through stuff.
Adalyn eating cake for Uncle Thomas' birthday at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Zach is a master builder.
She's really asleep this time.
Makayla is a master builder too!
