The end of October

I love so many things about it.  Matthew's smile.  Makayla's outfit and goggles.  Matching twins.
I loved this exchange even more!  Cute twins!  Was he saying "Smile Jo!"

I love this baby face!  It's like all our babies, yet his own too.
Arm tucked for rolling.
All.most.there.
Smiley baby!  Too bad its blurry.
Soo much excitement to keep still.  Even though its blurry, I can hear the squealing.

Crazy hair day Michael. This is a classic at our house.
Christopher's crazy hair day and Joseph's photobomb.
Joseph is doing a magic trick with a pom-pom on the cup.
Cute smiling twins!
Makayla loves the swing at our house.

Matthew loves the swing at our house.

Joseph loves playing with the car.
Classic fall picture...flannel and leaves.
Michael's award assembly.

Joseph on his train bed while wearing his train jammies.

Fall break

Yes, that is Christopher and Rob on our roof.  Rob realized we needed a new roof on our house if we were going to sell it, so on the last nice weekend in October, Rob reroofed our house. (Don't worry, he has lots of roofing experience. He worked as a roofer to pay for his mission.  That experience made him realize he actually wanted to go to college and not be a roofer for the rest of his life.)
Christopher was a big help!  Rob loved working with him!
During naptime one of the days Makayla and Zachary and I went wedding dress shopping with Calais.  (This wasn't the dress that she chose, but I had to document the occasion.)
Makayla dressed up for the occasion.  I like how you can see me and Zachary in the mirror.
Makayla wanted pictures everywhere.

Even holding Zachary.

I.WAS.NOT.THINKING and didn't bring a stroller or wrap to wear Zachary to the mall to wedding dress shop.  IN FACT, I carried the heavy baby and carseat a while, then brought the car seat back to the car.  And used my scarf to make a sling.  It sort of worked.

BYU football date with Rob

Rob and I went to a BYU football game together.  Rob's mom babysat, so we were able to enjoy the game and late night together. (Rob took this selfie.)
(I took this one.  Rob is much better at taking selfies.  Also, mine was before the game, his was after, when everyone was storming the field.
The field!

fireworks!
random person pointing them out for us.

FHE & the middle of October

For our family home evening activity, we built hamster castles.
He's Michael's.
Zachary practiced sitting up.

The daddy hamster trying it out.

Makayla wanted a picture with hers.
Zachary is getting big for the bassinet...but we are waiting to move to switch him to the crib.

At dinner I was so happy to have a table full of kids and they were in a pretty good mood....not sure where my dinner is though...
Matthew liked breakfast burritos.

Joseph did too.

Twins pushing each other on the swing.  Joseph is pushing Matthew.

They traded, but apparently I just got video, not a picture of Matthew pushing Joseph.
Joseph doing play dough

Makayla showing off her bracelet.
Michael showing off his person.
Joseph modeling the bow ties for the wedding.
I wish I could remember what Joseph is holding.  I tell from the picture, but I"m sure it was really funny.  OH NOW I REMEMBER.  He's holding a worm.  Matthew didn't want to hold it cuz he was afraid it was going to bite him.  Too funny that this is the first time they've seen a worm.
Joseph's hand slammed in the door.  Just bruising, no damage, luckily.
Zachary and Michael playing.
There was a funny story with this one too............
