Beginning of May

Makayla's birthday pie is an apple crisp in a sugar cookie crust.  Soo good!
So cute!

Here is Emma in the same outfit: https://robandmarseillestephenson.blogspot.com/2019/09/end-of-april.html

The kids love the rope swing

Adalyn was playing with that hat, but manage to turn herself and scoot away from it and looks so pleased with herself.
Happy birthday Makayla!

I love this picture.  It's the background for my phone.  Soo cute!
(It was cropped from this pic)
Happy baby!
Matthew wanted a picture with her.
Makayla wanted watermelon nails...we need more practice before we are ready for that.  Emma enjoyed doing nails with us.
Adalyn trying out sunglasses.
Makayla and her friend Hadley with their Hover boards.  Makayla wanted one for her birthday, so she paid for half of it and the other half was her bday present.

fun toy!
Emma and Adalyn LOVE swinging together!
Adalyn l.o.v.e.d sleeping in what we called her sleepsac. It was starting to get a little too small and then the zipper popped.  Sad day and a hard time falling asleep after that.  She would grab her arm kinda like she was stretching her shoulder, pulling her hand up to her mouth and kinda sucked on her sleeve.  So she was used to a special smell and softness from it.  Eventually she got over it and slept better.
Sunday nap with Daddy
Zachary photo bombing.

Makayla took a picture for me on Mother's day, but Adalyn wouldn't look at the camera.

Mathew lost 3 teeth...it looked kinda funny with that one in the middle there, but the ones on either side gone.

Makayla put chalk in the kids hair.
And her hair.
Zachary ran in Michael's track meet lollypop race.
Emma tried running in the race, but fell and a girl (maybe that girl?) helped her finish.
Michael went to the finals in one of his races.

Standing long jump (and friends from the twins soccer behind him)

Zachary helping Emma in our neighbor's backyard.
Making "houses" and keeping Adalyn corralled.

Christopher doesn't like me to take pics of him, but I really wanted one last picture of him wearing this shirt, and look, he's even bringing in the trash, so nice of him.  The first picture I have of him wearing this shirt is 6 years ago, March 2015....He was 10.  https://robandmarseillestephenson.blogspot.com/2015/04/march-12-16.html (last picture on the post). Same shirt.  Right after this picture, he gave the shirt to Matthew, age 7.
For his birthday, Zachary wanted a chocolate cake with cool whip and strawberries.

He wanted a spiderman costume (spoiler...he WOULDN"T wear it for Halloween.)

I"m not sure why this is out of order.

He also wanted a punching bag (Spoiler...didn't last 6 months...mostly because he pushed the plug inside the base and lost/broke the other piece to the plug.

Eating warheads

 lol

End of May

Awesome spiderman pose!
Emma wanted me to take a picture of her, because i was taking pics of Zachary with his birthday presents.

Zachary wanted a punching bag and a spiderman costume.

All these action shots are great!

Emma fell asleep like this and it made me laugh.

Emma and Adalyn are more excited about seeing baby Cora than she is of seeing them lol.

Cute smile Adalyn

Spring break at Goblin Valley

We went to Goblin Valley with Rob's parents and Rob's brother Scott's family.  We bought a class C motor home and this was the first trip we took it on.  We boon docked nearby and had a great time!  In this picture, all the kids except for Adalyn (who was strapped to me) are in it. (Plus Grandma and Rob.)

Zachary and Rachel
Makayla and Lizzy
Little white horse canyon was a fun hike.  It was fairly crowded, because it was spring break, but this was an out-and-back hike, and a slot canyon, so we knew we wouldn't lose any kids...we just worried about them occasionally climbing too high.
Michael and Joseph

This was our amazing camp site.  Rob's parents were in a tent, Scott's family had a tent and a travel trailer.  The kids just explored and climbed.
Hi Michael!
I only had to take Adalyn off once because of narrowness during the way up, but I didn't have to take her off on the way down, because the angle was better.

Pictures didn't really turn out in the RV.

Adalyn was going from 3 naps to 2 naps and just wanted me to hold her (which wasn't possible while I was cooking).  She screamed for a while, then Uncle Scott was able to calm her down & she fell asleep.
Movie before bed with cousins.  Emma was bouncing off the walls. Zachary, Makayla, and the twins sleep in the bunk above the driver's seat.  Emma and Michael share the bed on the table.  Christopher has the couch bed to himself, incase I needed to trade with him and sleep with Adalyn on it, but that wasn't needed.
Adalyn slept on the floor during part of the night, and with me on the bed, during the rest of it.  The cupboards make it feel safe to have her there, and the memory foam we added made our bed very comfortable.
Goblin Valley!  Even though the parking lot was full and we had to wait in line for an hour, it was not crowded at all on our hike.
Nature's playground.

Nathan was also able to get Adalyn to sleep when she was flipping out.
