End of April

Adalyn is wearing a dress that I wore when I was her age.  Here is Emma in the dress.  I still haven't found the pic of Makayla wearing it. Or me. hmmmm....
Christopher got his mission call!!!!!
Spokane, Washington English speaking.  End of July.  He was so excited!  I served pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.  Rob's mom made brownies to share too. (per my request)
Adalyn and Mommy selfie during reading time.
This is how much dough I made for the mission call opening.  We had leftovers, so i froze them, wrapped individually for the kids to bring for lunch.

Christopher asked a girl that he works with to Prom, using this door, so she replied on the other side.  I think I have a copy of that at the end of this post, just out of order.  (one of his friends in our ward had an extra door, so that's why he did this.  And he left it in his room when he went on his mission...so...:/)

Emma's friend, Abby wanted a selfie with me and Adalyn.
She did my hair (she's so soft at brushing!)

The girls did each other's hair.

Makayla was coming up on her 11th bday, which means she's eligible for a tablet, after reading the Book of Mormon, reading the safe guarding technology section in the gospel library app, and writing a page summary/how she will apply it.  She loves writing, so hers went onto the 3rd page.

Christopher and his prom date.
We tried going to the Nike outlet in Lehi, but it was closed for remodeling, so we went to Cabelas, with Rob's brother Thomas and his family.

Matthew let Michael cut his hair.
I think he liked it ok, once he got used to how short it was.
Sisters!

Joseph's lego creations.

Joseph running the 200 at their trackmeet (It was all 3rd graders going to our high school), one of their field trips for the year.

Matthew running the 200.  They took the top times rather than run a semifinal, so even though Matthew won his heat, he didn't place in the top 3, so we don't know how he did compared to the other kids.

We did a mother/daughter tea party for all the activity day girls.  It was really well attended and I think everyone had fun.
The leaders made cute Alice in wonderland food and we wore the hats we made.

Makayla and her friend Jojo.
Makayla and me.  My dress is the one I wore for my brother Taylor's wedding.

Makayla making her hat.

Makayla made a tea party for her sisters because it was so fun.
Adalyn LOVED it!
The new library!

our neighbors gave us this airplane, and the kids love it.
Yummy breakfast for dinner.
My friend Cheyenne invited the little girls and I to a place in Salt lake on Earth day and they were giving away service berry seedlings, so we planted one, and it's not doing so well right now, but service berries are a little like blue berries, so I hope it does well.

Adalyn in the children's area.
Cute decorations.

Enjoying a break on the swing.

Beautiful waterfall near where we ate lunch.

Makayla got an award at school.

Giving sisters hugs.

At the assembly

There's where we planted the service berry tree.  Adalyn enjoyed testing the sprinklers.

Beautiful spring flowers.
drawing with sidewalk chalk

The library grand opening.  I never bring friends places bcuz it's hard enough keeping track of all my kids, but this time we brought 3 friends and it turned out ok.  The library was really crowded, so they stayed with their buddy.  Most enjoyed face painting.

Matthew's face paint.

Makayla and Hadley were chosen to help with the scientist in the library.
We took lots of pictures with characters.  Merida (from the movie Brave)
Star wars.  Mandalorean
Superman
Captain Marvel
These guys LOVE spider man!

One day we only had 1 hr of church so people could go serve by sandbagging the river.  Rob took the older boys and took this picture of some of the YM in our ward with Michael.
This is how the youngest 6 walk to church...balancing on the curb.
Emma took my phone and took a selfie.

And took some pictures of Matthew reading to Adalyn.
Matthew and Adalyn!
Squeezable cheeks.
