Rob gets appendicitis and the kids turn into stripling warriors

Rob wasn't feeling well one night, but we didn't think much of it until he woke me up at 5am on a Sunday morning because he wanted to go to the ER.  This was a big deal because Rob never wants to go to the Dr.  But, his brother had appendecitis the year before and almost died because he waited so long to go in.  So Rob wasn't taking any chances.  It was really nice having Christopher old enough to babysit, so we just had him sleep in our bed, not needing to wake anyone up to stay with the kids.
We visited him in the ER on the way to one of Rob's old scout's mission homecoming in our old ward.  The kids drew him pictures, and were happy to see daddy before surgery.
Rob's parents stayed with him at the hospital while we were at church.  Then friends in our old ward offered to watch the kids while I was at the hospital.  I got back to the hospital during the surgery, so I got to see him wake up.  He said he wanted a new mountain bike (haha, he just bought a new one). Oh, and our across the street neighbor had her appendix out about 12 hrs before Rob!  We just missed each other at the hospital because that's about how long we each stayed.
Rob had to rest alot the first few days, so the twins were enjoying being close to daddy, even if they couldn't be on his lap.
Our friends a few houses down invited us to be part of their family Book of Mormon movie clip.  Their dad narrated.
Here they are getting ready for battle.
practicing dying.

Get them!!!
