Christopher's mission (July/Aug)

Christopher being set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Our neighbor Andrew got back from his mission the day before.  I wish I had a pic of them before he left to see how Christopher has grown.
This is his picture hanging up at church on his plaque, saying where he is on his mission and the scripture he chose.  We also have this pic hanging up at our house.

My brother and his family came to hear Christopher's farewell talk.  (Right before our neighbor's homecoming talk).  Here we are with cousin Cora.
Girl picture!
Makayla has dad's stuff ready for church!
I love this pic of the kids.
The boys
this is cute too, but Zach is missing
The girls.

Saying goodbye when we dropped him off at the MTC.  The kids were a little confused, since Rob works at the MTC. "So is Christopher going to come home at night with Dad?"

Our last family picture for 2 years
Getting the luggage out
Rob visited Christopher's classroom and district mates.  Christopher's teachers said he always had a huge smile on his face.
Rob and I are invited to Tuesday night devotionals a couple times a year, and it happened to be while Christopher was at the MTC.  It was soo fun to see him and give him one last hug.
Christopher is serving in the Spokane Washington mission, and Rob served in the Philippines.  Spoiler, Christopher has so far served in Lewiston and Coeur d'Alene.  In the summer it got to 110, and in the winter -15. crazy!
His first companion and trainer.

With his mission president and his wife outside the Spokane temple, the day he arrived.
