Christmas morning

We had all the kids (minus Zachary) sleep downstairs so that no one would see the presents Santa left before they were suppose to.  We put a blockade by the entrance to the kitchen so they couldn't come in.  Look at all those smiling, eager faces.

Someone ran upstairs before their turn and was upset to be carried back down.
The twins found dinosaur hats and microphones.  (Matthew was going through a phase where he had to have mittens on 24/7.

Matthew showing how it works
Makayla found an art set.
Michael was soo excited about his trick scooter that this was the only shot I got.
Christopher checking out his trick scooter.

Zachary is like "what is going on?! why is everyone acting so crazy?!"
Checking out his stocking
And ball

Yes, these are acceptable.
I get to keep this, right?!

The kids found mini sparkling apple juice in their stockings and enjoyed them.

Matthew was excited to find really soft mittens.  And GUM!
Toys from Grandma and Grandpa Loftus....twins playing together

Zachary's present from aunt Kimberly.  He loves to dance to it.
We got sooo much snow.  Rob shoveled for 3 hours (over the course of the day) so that we could leave early the next morning for my sister's wedding.  They canceled our 9am church, and we were glad because we would have had to carry our kids (making multiple trips!)  (But we were sad to miss the Christmas program). By afternoon Rob's parents were able to drive here for Christmas dinner. (In their Honda Pilot.  They said our neighborhood was the worst.  As long as we could get our van out of the neighborhood, we could make it to Oregon for the wedding).  We also had Rob's cousin Jessica's family over for Christmas dinner.   It's been fun to have them down the street!
My parents gave Makayla Frozen decals.  She LOVED decorating with them.
Rob's parent's gave Zachary these warm monkey jammies.

So cute!
