This is the only picture we got of 'all the kids' because this was the first year Christopher and Michael were off with friends. Michael had to be in a group with an adult, but we let Christopher go off with just friends. Rob thinks this is the last year we will let him go trick or treating. I think one more year wouldn't hurt. Christopher stood in line from 3:30-5pm with his friends for donuts at a house one neighborhood over. They also went to several houses they knew would give out full sized candy bars. Rob almost looks like he's caught red-handed stealing our pumpkin. Also, we've decided we are going to keep growing corn stalks just to decorate for Halloween. (This year Rob didn't set them up until Halloween night, but I'm guessing we will do it earlier next year.)
This is the first year I organized our hand-out candy. We handed out about 300 pieces of candy. Rob said the kids took the candy in the middle of the tray more often than the ones on the outside. (I took the kids trick or treating for 45 minutes, while Rob handed out candy, then Rob took them out.
Storm trooper and Darth Vader ready for their preschool halloween party. 2 things to note: 1. Christopher wore the darth vader costume in 1st grade. 2. The twins' shoes were light up shoes. Oh, and 3. Matthew's gun is a water gun, but we did not put water in it. It was kind of a chilly night. Not freezing, but gloves made the evening more pleasant.
It's Matthew and Joseph! (Yes, their height difference is that much.)
Zachary was soo excited to be Thomas the train. Sadly we lost the conductor's hat, and even posting it on the ward fb page, we weren't able to find it.
Photo shoot!! Great Grandma Call gave her this cute Halloween outfit!
The twins' preschool Halloween parade.
Choo-Choo Zach
She did NOT want to be on her tummy, but I wanted a picture of the cute jack o'lantern on her bum.
The only picture I got of Christopher. No, he didn't dress up for school and only solidified his costume idea (he wore the same one 2 years ago) a few minutes before this picture.
Joseph and Matthew watching Makayla's class (leopard) in the school parade. We sat in a friend's front yard & it was fun to chat while waiting for the parade and during it.
Trying to get a picture of us in our halloween shirts...Emma wasn't amused.
She usually likes facing out....nope. She was not happy this day.
Trying to get a picture of her in this cute elephant costume. Rob's cousin Jessica, who lives down the street & is the twin's preschool teacher, so she pictured in this post, offered for us to borrow this costume & it was so cute & warm!
Finally got a good picture....the trick is to hold her so she sits up.
Michael was a black ninja. (last year he was a white ninja) He wishes it was a morph suit (hands and feet covered in a body suit), but this was the next best thing.
