We had a fun summer trip. First we drove to Pocatello to spend a few days with Rob's brother Scott's family. They were in a parade because Scott is a dentist and they were advertising their office. And it went by just a few blocks from their house, so we went to it and collected a lot of candy. (And gave them some too!)
They told us a particular bank always throws green candy. And they threw a.l.o.t
Here they are!
Here are my kids collecting from their cousins.
The dentist himself.
Haha, Matthew carrying his loot (we always dump all the parade candy into a big bowl and share it.)
A pediatrician office was passing out sunscreen and look at how many we came home with!!
Christopher and Michael at the upper end of the falls. There were issues, like we were in the wrong parking lot, the sun was going to set (closing the trail), Rob was having foot problems, Zachary pooped his pants, and Gabrielle's 2 yr old fell and scraped his face. But it we are glad we did it.
One day Christopher, Rob, and I went with Isaac (Gabrielle's husband) to Google (where he works). We had an amazing breakfast and saw all the cool meeting stations. This is a real boat. Inside. Just for a cool meeting place.
Here was another one...a bird nest
Amazing view from the roof. They also had several decompress zones...gyms, arcades, building stations...It is a fun place to work.
Zachary and Emma at the park
Cool tricks Zach!
Ahhh! Falling!
Cielo and Makayla wore their Minnie mouse jammies.
We went to a beach on the lake and the tide was waaaay out. It was fun to take the (walking) ferry to it! We did so many fun things, but when I blog about it 8 months later, its hard to remember the details, so only the pictures get talked about. The last leg of our journey was to Oregon for my brother's wedding. We stayed a few days at my parent's house too.
