Per Rob's suggestion several months ago, Michael really wanted a hamster for his birthday. (Funny that one time Rob was out of town Michael (age 2 at the time) licked that salt lick and I had no idea what it was, wondering if I needed to call poison control.) Michael is too nervous to hold the hamster, but he named it Little Amigo. Then Michael and Christopher pooled their money and bought another hamster cage and a girl hamster (Little Amiga) to mate them and sell the hamsters. Well, Little Amigo died 1 day before the return policy ended, so we brought him back & got another one. Then they mated. Now we have baby hamsters & the boys are hoping to sell them for $10 each Less cost than petsmart, but the same amount as the mom & pop pet store we bought the hamsters at.) They are a friendly breed of hamster & the kids love them.
Michael helped decorate his cake. (He talked me into buying a red velvet cake mix & new container of multi-kind of sprinkles.)Birthday party! Getting ready for the treasure hunt.
Cake & ice cream.
Playing pinecone war.
We had 2 sets of brothers there. All kids he normally plays with, but some neighborhood kids don't really get along, so I had to mediate some. Max, Willy, Landon, Kyle, Isaiah & Kingston.
Then, luckily after the party, the twins found the leftover cake and ate the frosting layer off. Grrrr.
